The Market is seeking vendors interested in participating in all or a few of the five weekend events planned for 2004. Interested persons are welcome to attend planning meetings for the marketplace as well. For more information, contact Joan Pasco - East County One Stop Career System at 661.3981.
Vendor Orientation
A free orientation session will help vendors prepare
for the Rockwood International Marketplace as well as
introduce related topics such as dynamics of outdoor
market vending, income expectations and planning. This
session will be held on March 27th at the Annex
Building of Lutheran Community Services Northwest,
located at 605 SE 39th, between Stark and Belmont.
This is open to the public.
Vendor Business Training Workshop Series
A workshop series designed to assist vendors in
preparation for this Marketplace and others will be
offered this spring. This series will cover the basic
aspects of starting and operating a vendor business.
This seven-session series is scheduled from March 27th
to May 8th on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30pm. (There will
be no class on April 10th). It will be held in the
Annex Building of Lutheran Community Services
Northwest, located at 605 SE 39th, between Stark and
Belmont. This is open to the public and is optional
for vendors participating in the Rockwood
International Marketplace. The first workshop is a
free orientation and will end at 4:30pm. The total
cost of the series is $75.00 per business. Please
indicate on the registration form if you would like to
attend this workshop only or in addition to
participating in the Marketplace as a vendor.
